Dull coat, dry skin, stiffening joints? Collagen is the protein that holds your dog together, and after about age 2 dogs lose around 7–10% of it every year. Every 2 soft chews top it back up with 1,400 mg of collagen types I, II and III, plus a superfood blend.

Week 1 · Settling in
Collagen and the other actives start to build up in the body. The first week or two can look like nothing's happening. That's normal.
Weeks 2–3 · Building up
Every day, collagen types I, II and III, hyaluronic acid, biotin and vitamin C top up what your dog's body uses. Keep giving the chews every day.
Weeks 4–6 · Keep it steady
Collagen needs a steady daily supply. The coat is often the first place owners notice a change.
Weeks 6–8 · Time to judge
Allow at least 8 weeks before you judge it. Keep giving the daily chews to hold on to it: stop giving them and the benefits fade.
No two dogs respond the same way: age, size and starting point all count. Give it every day and allow at least 8 weeks. A supplement supports the body; it isn't a quick fix.
As dogs get older, everyday movement starts to matter more than anything, and after about age 2 they make less collagen every year. That’s exactly why we made Superfood Collagen Chews: collagen types I, II and III, the collagen found in skin, coat and cartilage, plus a superfood blend. Daily support. Made for the long haul.

The science-led rules we stick to, because every milligram counts.
Each ingredient has a role: collagen types I, II and III from grass-fed bovine collagen peptides and hydrolysed chicken collagen, a superfood blend, hyaluronic acid, biotin and vitamin C.
Having the right ingredients isn't enough – they need to be there in the right amounts. Every 2 chews (4 g) deliver 1,400 mg of collagen, 390 mg of superfood blend, 10 mg of hyaluronic acid and 400 mcg each of biotin and vitamin C.
Each ingredient has its own focus, but together they work towards one goal: healthy skin, coat and joints.
Types I and III support the skin and coat; type II is the collagen found in cartilage. Hyaluronic acid helps the skin and joints hold on to moisture, biotin helps the body make keratin and vitamin C is needed to make collagen. The superfood blend adds natural antioxidants and fatty acids for the whole body.
Each ingredient chosen for a reason and blended so every milligram does its job.

In Australia, the APVMA sets the rules for animal health products, because what you give your dog every day deserves the same care as what you'd take yourself.
Our supplements are made in a facility with APVMA GMP certification, which is only granted after a full independent audit and has to be kept up with regular checks after that.
For you, it's the simplest way to know the pouch holds exactly what the label promises. You can't buy it. You have to earn it.
Every formula has to pass the same three-part test: the right ingredients, in the right amounts, in the right combinations.
Not because it's the easy way to make a supplement, but because it's the way to make one that works.
That's the difference between a nice-looking label and a real difference for your dog.
Every Barklie formula is checked by an independent lab for quality, purity and strength after it's made.
An extra layer of accountability we chose ourselves. If your dog gets it every day, it has to be exactly right.
Making a supplement can weaken the active ingredients before it ever reaches your dog.
So we test every batch after production to check that what we put in is still there. If the actives didn't make it through, the batch doesn't either.
Every ingredient is in there for a clear, documented reason. We leave out wheat, corn, soy and potato, skip binders and fillers that serve no purpose, and never add artificial colouring or flavouring.
Where we need flavour, we use real food flavours like pork liver, not synthetic versions.
Nothing goes in without a reason, and nothing is there to bulk it up or cut costs.
A supplement your dog won't eat doesn't help anyone. Every dog parent knows that one.
The usual way to test taste is with lab dogs, kept just for that purpose. We don't think that's right.
So before a formula launches, it's taste-tested by real dogs from our own community of dog parents. If they don't love it, it doesn't make the cut.
Supplements need time. It takes a while for the actives to be absorbed, accumulate in the body and do their work in the cells.
You're investing in your dog, and we back that with a 90-day trial. Not happy with the results? We'll make it right.
Every Barklie supplement is made right here in Australia, in certified facilities held to some of the strictest production standards in the world.
GMP-certified facilities where every step, from raw ingredients to the finished pouch, is documented, audited and kept consistent.

I have an 11 year old German Shepard who was showing signs of hip or joint pain while trying to get up or stand. After just a week, she was literally jumping up on the couch and out running with our high energy beagle. Even just a few days without and I was able to see her struggling again. I'll use these for the rest of her life. Thank you!

My 8 year old Golden retriever had a bad knee, was on pain medication and still had a limp and moved slow. Roughly 6 months after starting her on the Hip and Joint support, I was able to take off of the pain medication and she is back to playing fetch and running around like she is a puppy again. Since the results were so good, I have started giving this to my other two dogs, one of them is 12 and the other is 10. Thank you for this wonderful supplement.

He’s been taking this for over 6 months and we have seen a difference in energy. He’s is walking more and running just a tad more. Any improvement for me is good. I’ll take what I can get.

My shih tzu/Maltese mix was starting to have difficulty going up and down the stairs, sitting, and doing everyday activities. She was 8 years old at the time. She's about to be 10 and has been taking this supplement for almost 2 years and her mobility has improved so much. She jumps, plays, runs, etc and has no difficulty with stairs now. All I can say is if your old dog is shaky, wobbles when walking or has to be lifted into your car; get this stuff.
It takes about 2 months of treatment but wow what a difference.
I used to lift him into my truck. So I got a ramp. He would hesitate to walk up it and I had to guide him up it. He runs up it now and leaps off the seat to get out. Haven’t tried letting him jump up on to the seat yet to get in yet. ....Lol....
last the unexpected thing that occurred is that he was getting skinny. Now he’s back to normal.
Thank you Barklie
Ps. my dog is 14 years old

My 12 year old male dalmatian was literally not wanting to get up and walk at all. I had to practically pull him to the door to go out to do his business. Although still stiff some days he now runs to the door when needs to go out. He gets up so much easier. It's only been a couple of months but I'd highly recommend the Barklie Hip & Joint Chews

It has helped my 10 yr old German Shepherd so much with her hip and knee arthritis. She had started limping some and could no longer jump up on bed with me. I started giving her this after trying another joint supplement product for 2 months. To my amazement, I started noticing improvement within 3 to 4 weeks and now she seems like she’s back to her old self with no more limping and can once again hop up in the bed to snuggle. I am so happy and grateful for the improvement in my girl’s quality of life!

This product has worked wonders for our dog. We have an extremely active 1 year old yellow lab who our vet diagnosed with a soft tissue injury of her left hip. She was put on anti-inflammatory meds and rest. Well rest for a lab puppy is very hard to do especially with 10 acres of property that she loves to run on and a river close by that she lives to swim in. After the her course of meds she was still limping and hoping after a day of play. I read about Barklie and all the great reviews and decided to try it for Bella. After only 3 weeks we saw significant improvement. These supplements are amazing . We are on month #3 and she hasn’t limped at all since she started these. What an amazing product this is and a great response our Bella has had with them. Thank you for making our baby feel better!

I have a 120# Mastiff/Pyrenees mix named Peter who will be 10 years old in November. A few months ago he was waking up in the middle of the night crying and whining because of hip pain.
I decided to try this product along with some pain meds my sister ( a Veterinarian) prescribed.
I am pleased to say that Pete is doing great, he even gets the old dog zoomies, and is acting like he can keep going!
We have our furbabies for such a short time, the cost is worth it.

Missy is a 15-year-old shepherd mix. She could barely walk when she start taking it. She can now walk but she's still very careful. We have to make sure that her legs don't slide out from under her, but other than that when she's up and walking around she can even run just a little bit in the yard. She still chews bones with the other dogs.

We have a Siberian Husky who will be 13 years old in January 2026 who was struggling to go up stairs over the last year. Our veterinarian said his right hip and leg was stiffening. We started joint supplement chews in August of this year. We started with 2 a day for a month as recommended, then gave 1 a/day until now in November. I break them up and sprinkle the crumbs on his food and mix it up for him. He’s not crazy about the flavor. He has improved significantly. He goes up and down stairs, walks 3-4 times a day, and runs at the dog park with our 9 year old huskies. I recommend these chews if you have similar issues with your older dog.

My Husky/Malamute mix, Elsa, seemed low energy and reluctant to jump in and out of the vehicles. Started struggling to get into even my low car’s seat. I watched my roommates 10 year old Sheltie go from grumpy old man to happy and bouncy with so I decided to try it. By the end of the first month she runs! She plays! She races the younger pup up the stairs to the bedroom! Her sits, downs, and spins got snappy instead of reluctant. We have a black lab named Brandy, she is a rescue and the sweetest girl you could ask for. However, her back legs would tremble and shake when she would attempt to get up and walk. Since Barklie, we have a whole new dog! She acts and runs like a puppy. If you are new to this product, you will start noticing improvement within a month, but please allow it two to three months, as we noticed that she no longer struggles to get up. She is happier and excited to see us and wants to go play outside with her big brother - a French Mastiff. Nothing gives me more pleasure than knowing she is no longer in pain and enjoying life to the fullest in her older years.

Marty is 15 1/2 and had been showing signs of joint pain. Ha had problems getting up off his bed, walking the stairs and just seemed to sleep alot. He didn't play much with the younger dogs. Read about the supplement for joint problems in dogs and decided to try them. He's been on them for 2 months and what a difference in my boy! He's a mix of hound and beagle and while he's not ever going to be young again, he is a lot more playful, can get up off floor with no hesitation and best of all can jump up on the dogs couch to lay down! I'm so happy to see a big improvement in his activity and no more pain when he walks. And he loves his 'Barklie' as I call them. He goes right to where they are kept and waits for me to get him one. So thankful there is something to make him feel alot better.

I have 2 dogs, the oldest of which is 14 years old. He has always been energetic and playful, but he tore his second ACL a couple of years ago. We did not have the second tear repaired surgically due to his age so he limps and hurts when he sits. My other dog is a lab who has become a lazy indoor love bug, and struggles to pull himself up. He is 10. Both dogs have now been on Barklie joint supplements for a couple of months and their energy and happiness has improved dramatically! They both play more and run a little easier. Tilly my 15 year old Bearded Collie was having difficulty getting up and down stairs. She had some trouble getting up on my bed also. Since starting hip and joint chews she is doing so much better. She loves the chews( a very picky dog).
Tilly has a very sensitive GI system and gets soft stools with several foods. I don’t give her as many chews as recommended because she has soft stools after taking 4 chews a day.
I have been giving her 2 chews a day and will increase the number after she adjusts to them.
I highly recommend the hip and joint chews. After just 2 weeks I’ve seen a significant change in her movements.

Superfood Collagen Chews
I recommend this product
It is shocking how this has help my dog. He is 10 years old and like 2 years ago stop jumping, and was limping. The vet told me that he would need with time a knee replacement. My dog loves hiking and he couldn't do it anymore. It was heart breaking seen him under the bed must of the time. I decided to try Barklie for joint and like they say, I stared to see result by the 90 day of using it. He is not like a puppy and I know he never will, but he is happy, he is playing arround the house, jumping, going for walks, we just have to be little more careful. I recommend this 100%!!!!

Little paws on the way?
Of course you want the best for your mum-to-be. We haven’t tested our supplements on pregnant or nursing dogs, so have a chat with your vet first about what’s right for her and her litter.
My dog ate the whole tub – now what?
If your dog has got into the tub and eaten far more than the serving guide says, an upset tummy is possible, such as vomiting or diarrhoea. Is their tummy still upset after 24 hours, or are you unsure? Then call your vet to be sure. You can always reach out to us too.
Collagen makes up most of the skin and coat and is a key building block of cartilage and the tissue around the joints. After about age 2, dogs lose around 7–10% of their collagen every year. That’s when the coat dulls, the skin gets dry or itchy and the joints start to stiffen.
It’s for dogs with a dull or thinning coat, dry or itchy skin, or joints that are starting to stiffen, and for any dog over 2 that you want to keep in good shape. The collagen comes from grass-fed beef and chicken, the flavour is duck and the superfood blend contains green-lipped mussel (shellfish): if your dog has an allergy to any of these, check with your vet first.
Yes. Our formulas are made to be used together, alongside a balanced diet. Already giving another supplement or a prescribed medicine? Have a quick chat with your vet before adding ours.
